Imagine an organic architectural system, that would give you and your neighbours the ability to harness the health benefits of living within a green space full of plants, without having to maintain them. Mycotopia is inspired by and utilises one of the oldest, and most ubiquitous organisms found on earth, the mycelium network. Our concept proposes the introduction of a mycelium based system into urban landscapes in the form of a symbiotic nutrient sharing planting system. The project proposes a speculative projection into the future where mankind and nature have learned to coexist and thrive with one and other.
