Prof. Dr. Paul Freemonts Lab welcomed us for a 1 day workshop in their lab to gather hands-on experience. The workshop was lead by Kirsten Jensen and Michael Crone and enabled the students to explore different tools and techniques in a bio-lab and to be able to collect, extract, analyze and transform biological parts.

Beforehand the students had the chance to get virtual experience in the virtual iGEM lab from Labster.
